At Handmade Mama LLC, every item is made with care and many products are custom-created specifically for you. Because of the personalized nature of our business, our return and refund policy is outlined below.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Custom & Personalized Items (DTF, Embroidery, Pressed Apparel, Custom Orders)
Due to the custom nature of these products:
All custom, personalized, or made-to-order items are final sale.
This includes:
- Custom embroidery
- DTF transfers
- Pressed apparel
- Team gear
- Personalized items (names, numbers, logos, etc.)
- Podcast merchandise (if applicable)
- Bulk/team orders
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once production has started.
2. Order Approval Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Verifying spelling, names, numbers, and sizes
- Approving design proofs (if provided)
- Ensuring artwork submitted is correct and print-ready
Handmade Mama LLC is not responsible for errors approved by the customer prior to production.
3. Non-Custom (Ready-to-Ship) Items
For non-custom, ready-to-ship items:
- Returns may be requested within 7 days of delivery
- Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
Once the item is received and inspected, store credit may be issued.
We do not guarantee cash refunds unless required by law.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective:
- You must contact us within 3 days of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the issue
- Include your order number
If the issue is determined to be our error, we will:
- Replace the item, or
- Issue a refund or store credit at our discretion
Damage caused by improper washing, wear, or misuse is not eligible for refund.
5. Turnaround Times
All products are made within the turnaround time listed at purchase.
Turnaround times:
- DTF Transfers: 1–5 business days
- Pressed Apparel: 5–7 business days
- Embroidery: 10–14 business days
- Large team or bulk orders may vary
Shipping delays once the package leaves our facility are outside of our control and are not grounds for refund.
6. Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled within 12 hours of purchase if production has not started.
After that window, materials and time may already be allocated and cancellations may not be possible.
7. Sizing Disclaimer
Due to variations in brands and garment styles:
- We are not responsible for sizing issues
- Size charts are provided when available
- Exchanges are not guaranteed on custom items
8. Copyright & Trademark Responsibility
Customers submitting logos, brand names, or copyrighted content confirm they have legal rights to use that material.
Handmade Mama LLC is not responsible for intellectual property violations submitted by customers.
